Marie Rennie

Marie Rennie is from Utopia, approximately 300kms North east of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.

Utopia is home to some of the most renowned Indigenous artists, birthing the great Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Minnie Pwerle, Kudditji Kngwarreye and Barbara Weir (to name only a few!) who arose out of the Papunya Tula art movement in the 1970’s.

Like her relatives, Marie paints her dreaming using a combination of bright, vivid colours and intricate brush work, to create a beautiful depiction of ‘Spinifex Grass’.
